A couple of days ago, I stepped into a chaotic beehive officially known as the Department of Foreign Affairs, with the purpose of renewing my Filipino passport. I emerged from that place mentally drained! I'm talking about three ^!&%$#@ hours in a tortuously long queue best described as...indescribable!

Now, let me disclose a little detail: all that waiting time was to submit ONE ^%$#@ single application sheet, with the required attached ID pictures and thumb marks!!! :faint:

As you can judge from the above shot, came out alive to tell the tale! :giggle: My old passport is perforated, thus invalid. The new is due in a week. I'm hoping for a less dramatic experience this time around. :O

Just curious here: anyone of you hold 2 passports (dual nationality) and from which countries?

Damn. You'd think there'd be a mailing service for that kind of thing, you know to send in forms and whatnot :faint:

I hold a HK passport and used to have a UK passport, which is now outdated. I'll be getting a US passport in 5 years ;)

I had to renew my passport a little more than a year ago, just in the nick of time, too-- and suddenly the thing is like an electronic DEVICE as opposed to a mere document :paranoid::paranoid:

What's the duration of your passport? The Filipino one is valid for five years.

If it were possible, sending forms would be worse: it takes 11 days to receive a letter mailed within Manila. :faint:

So far I hold a PH passport but hope for another one, soon. ;-) It's a pity your UK passport is outdated, would have been cool to hold 3 passports!
